Just going to go ahead and start the vote/discussion here.
Option 1 is the easiest
Option 2 is maybe the fairest (ootp reports can be edited, our database would keep track anyways)
Option 3 would cause some issues for me because the teams would get re-assigned ID numbers and my database uses the initial IDs
Option 4 kind of kills trade talks after July
On a similar note, we could maybe take a vote later to change the sim schedule post-trade deadline from a 7-8-7 schedule to maybe 15 at a time.. end of the season kind of drags on, but this can be another topic for another day.

I don’t understand what “customize top four teams” means? All but option four end up with eight playoff teams, correct?

Option 1 would have the top two teams in each division advancing into the playoffs. Option 2 would mean Commish re-edits the divisions at the end of the regular season prior to running playoffs so that the top four best records advance into the playoffs. ---------- I voted option 1.

With option 2, is it only the World series winner that will be wrong in the historical reports? I'm ok with that if we can mark championships on team clubhouse pages.

Actually, I found out that if I just wait to switch the League Structure back until after the file flip, all the reports are fine in game

Actually, I found out that if I just wait to switch the League Structure back until after the file flip, all the reports are fine in game So, this would ultimately have the same effect as if we just had no divisions and the top four teams make the playoffs. Right? If this gets us to that, I think that's the best thing to do.

Both division winners should go, but the only difference is that he can take both WC from one division (so max of 3 from one division). Is that correct?

Well it could be either or really..
If somehow like the top 4 records in one league came from the same division, we could IN THEORY make it to where all 4 get in.
Or if the top 3 records were from one division and the 4th was the division winner from the other, technically we could re-order the seeds to make that 4th team be the away team vs. the best team
